WHERE:  Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah Valley    (Click here for NPS map)

EVENT START:  0800 Step-Off from Old Rag Ranger Station

2577 Nethers Rd, Etlan, VA 22719    (Google Maps Link)

IMPORTANT:  Limited to no cell service near mountain - please plan accordingly

COST:  FREE   TFS will purchase park day use tickets for all registrants and will cover park entrance fees when needed

DURATION:  It usually takes 4-5 hours to hike the 9 mile loop

DIFFICULTY RATING:  VERY STRENUOUS    (Click here for more info)

TRANSPORTATION:  Self supported; however, if you need a ride (or would like to carpool)  from the Chesterfield area, please email us at adventures@taskforcespark.org

GEAR LIST (Recommended):  Backpack/vest, comfortable hiking clothes, hiking boots/trail shoes, hat, sunglasses, hydration source w/at least 1L water, snacks, and sunscreen, bug spray.  (This list is not all inclusive)
